On June 4, 2022 took place the 19th edition of the Calanques Propres event organized by the MerTerre association, in collaboration with the Remed Zero Plastique collaborative platform.
This waste collection operation aims to clean up the Mediterranean coast, from the Blue Coast to Saint-cyr-sur-mer, and to raise awareness of the characteristics and extent of pollution in the Calanques and the coast.
In 2020, 73 m3 of waste – the equivalent of 12 cars – was collected by 930 citizens mobilized through 80 associations.
This year, a clean-up from the Blue Coast to Saint-cyr-sur-mer, which turned out to be a real success for MerTerre:
✓ 2230 attendees
✓ 112 m³ waste collected
✓ 8 291 kilos of waste collected
A big BRAVO for this hopeful operation!
We are proud to be able to contribute to this major collection through our partnership with the MerTerre association.
